Trump appears to confirm he’s under investigation

Earlier this week, news reports indicated that Trump was thinking about firing Mueller but was dissuaded by staff.A few days after the March 22 meeting, Mr Trump spoke separately with Mr Coats and Mr Rogers and asked them to issue public statements to the effect that there was no evidence of coordination between his campaign and Russia, AFP reported. A day later, Mr. Rosenstein appointed Mr. Mueller, who was at the helm of the Federal Bureau of Investigation during the September 11 attacks, as special counsel. He subsequently appointed Mueller as special counsel for the investigation into Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 election.The White House confirmed that Mr. Mueller was among the candidates Mr. Trump interviewed to replace Mr. Comey.Co-host Mika Brzezinski said, “It’s really causing a problem for the presidency”.If proven to be true this would implicate Trump in an obstruction of justice, which is an impeachable offence.
