Justin Bieber canceled his Purpose World Tour 2017 for a reason, and everyone is dying to find out why. Although a lot of people are speculating different reasons, the 23-year-old singer’s rep came out with the real reason behind the cancellation.
PEOPLE’s sources close to Bieber claim that the Baby singer is exhausted from all the touring that he has done in the past. “He’s been going to church and has been hanging out with his church crew. He’s super exhausted though.” The insider continues with, “He actually does like being on tour, but he’s been touring for 18 months straight and it takes a toll.”
Purpose World Tour 2017 Cancellation Statement
Justin Bieber’s representative says in the statement, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months.”
The rest of the statement reads: “He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across six continents during this run. However, after careful consideration, he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase.”
This means his concerts in different venues all over North America will ultimately be canceled for the time being, but a source also states that ticket purchases will be refunded. His Asian schedule will also be canceled, including dates in Indonesia, the Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
Fans are saddened by the recall of the concert dates, but in order for Bieber to entertain again, he’ll have to be in the best shape. Among his list of canceled dates in the US are performances in Texas, California, Minnesota, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Colorado.
Justin Bieber Cancelled Tour, What’s He Up to Now?
The same insider of the aforementioned source mentioned that he has been spending time at Church. He was also recently spotted hanging out with his close friend Laura Lentz, the wife of Hillsong Church Pastor Carl Lentz. He was also seen grabbing a Slurpee from 7-11 with nothing more than his Calvin Klein boxers, Mercedes G-Wagon, and his tattoos.
These last sightings only show that the 23-year-old Canadian singer and songwriter is more than ready to relax and unwind after working so hard. Justin Bieber’s camp is yet to release a statement on how long he will be on a break and when he will be ready to go on tour again.
