Horrified TV reporter projectile vomited on during live broadcast

The other day, unsung hero and KTLA reporter Wendy Burch got a new assignment: report live from Los Angeles’ ironman competition.Burch pulled in a competitor during the live telecast to ask about the activities, which is described as “Run, Paddle, Chug”.Video of the interview went viral and Burch, who went home to take a shower and a nap after the incident, wrapped up her thoughts on her sudden fame with some advice to future journalists.Unfortunately, one particularly messy competitor chose to vomit all over Burch and the man she was interviewing during the event. Smiling, Burch declared, “It’s getting ugly, it’s getting ugly”.Burch then turns back to the man she had been interviewing before.Immediately after she got hit by the flying vomit, the video froze up and the anchors back in the studio reacted exactly how you figured they would. At that moment she grabs a topless competitor who begins to explain his “training” for the boozy event. The TV personality revealed: “What I didn’t notice until later, is that he had a bullseye drawn on his back with the words “puke here” written in magic marker”. Sure. But be honest, you know, deep in your gut that this was the result of too much beer being deep in someone’s gut. Unaware that she was no longer on the air, she said she continued to interview revelers on the scene, “while sudsy substances flew in the air and landed in my hair”. She’s surrounded by burly, drunk men-“Where’s your beer?” one slurs at her-as we see countless possible sources of danger mingling and chugging beer behind her, recalling the many filmic instances in which the audience is aware of a greater danger than the character onscreen.
