Oregon WR Darren Carrington Arrested on Suspicion of DUII

After deciding to return to OR and not take a chance following 2016 to enter the NFL Draft, this is part of a bigger picture that is Darren Carrington.Carrington’s vehicle allegedly collided with a pole in the drive-thru at a McDonald’s at a little after 3 a.m.Following his arrest, he was suspended indefinitely by Head Coach Willie Taggart who said he would wait for all the details to come to light before making any further decisions on Carrington’s status.OR wide receiver Darren Carrington has been indefinitely suspended from the team following a Saturday morning DUI arrest. While he is expected to be in court on July 21 over the incident, Taggart told the Oregonian through his spokesperson, “We are continuing to gather the facts in this matter”. He was suspended for the Ducks’ College Football Playoff Championship Game loss to Ohio State in 2015 after he failed a drug test.Last October a UO graduate accused the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Carrington of pushing him to the ground and breaking his arm.His 606 receiving yards last season led the team, and his five touchdown catches were tied for the most on a struggling Ducks squad. During his three seasons with the team, Carrington as racked up 112 catches for 1,919 yards and 15 touchdowns.On Saturday morning Carrington posted a message on Instagram that said: “Thanks for everything I’ll truly miss my brothers love y’all”.
