Seth Rogen has been sliding into Donald Trump Jr.’s DMs

Seth Rogen and Stephen Colbert spent some of Monday’s “Late Show” teaching a masterclass on Twitter trolling. Then it was time for him to send another message. Though, he later realized he sent Trump Jr. more late-night DMs, imploring him to get his father to “go back to hosting game shows”. “Your father is trying to discredit our media, collude with Russian Federation, and destroy the environment”, reads one of the three DMs Rogen has sent.Rogen also asked Trump Jr.to ask if his father would “go back to being just a guy on TV”.It all started a few months back when Rogen realized President Trump’s son and namesake followed him on the social media platform.Colbert sent Trump Jr. a DM, which he shared on Twitter.”I think [Trump’s ] biggest supporters would rather bang the Prime Minister of Canada than him, I’d imagine, if given the choice”, Rogen said.”It’s like a wave when you’re driving”.”Yo! Donald Trump Jr!”. His account was still following Rogen and Colbert as of Tuesday morning. Colbert followed suit and sent his own direct message to Trump’s son. Colbert, who discovered Trump Jr. also follows him, chose to “just, you know, reach out” on Rogen’s behalf. Sup? Hanging with @sethrogen. How about we all chill together and burn one.Yo! @DonaldJTrumpJr! I noticed you follow me on Twitter.Rogen ended up sending another message while sitting beside Colbert. Hope you’re good. Maybe ask your dad to resign?Of course, if Rogen had watched Chelsea Handler’s recent interview with Sarah Silverman, he would know that direct messaging one of the president’s children is a largely ineffective route to world peace or, really, anything.
