'Avengers: Infinity War' Spoilers: 'Everybody Dies' says Mark Ruffalo

Some interesting Avengers: Infinity War spoilers were just revealed by a member of the film’s cast. Mark Ruffalo, who portrays the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), recently spilled some tidbits on the upcoming film. As the actor details, it seems that there is a possibility of all the Avengers dying in Infinity War.

Mark Ruffalo Leaks Some Avengers: Infinity War Spoilers

A recent interview with Ruffalo shows the actor letting slip that Infinity War does not “end well for the superheroes.” He says, “Let me say this: like every other Marvel movie, it doesn’t end well for the superheroes.” On the topic of Avengers: Infinity War spoilers, he adds, “Wait until you see this next one. Everybody dies.”

Ruffalo’s Infinity War co-star, Don Cheadle — who portrays James Rhodes/War Machine in the MCU — shows some panic as if Ruffalo was not supposed to disclose such information. Ruffalo later attempts to retract his statement in line with Cheadle’s reaction.

Some speculate that this may be a deliberate slip-up to throw fans off their trail. If this is indeed the case, then Ruffalo’s prediction of all the superheroes meeting their demise may not be true after all. However, with regard to recent reports, there is a chance of some characters meeting their end in Infinity War.

Goodbye Avengers in Infinity War?

Though Ruffalo’s statements have yet to be proven, they may actually carry some truth to them. Previous reports indicate that Marvel Studios head, Kevin Feige, shared that Infinity War is the end of the road for some MCU stars. With Infinity War being a culmination of several story lines over the years in the MCU, it seems only fitting that some plot points wrap up once and for all.

The likes of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth are candidates for MCU stars whose characters may be killed off in Infinity War. For one, they are already at the tail end of their respective contracts with Marvel Studios. In fact, Downey Jr. recently addressed his impending retirement from the MCU. The real-life Tony Stark shares that he actually wants to leave his role “before it gets embarrassing.”

Evans and Hemsworth, on the other hand, have yet to address such a notion. The two portray Steve Rogers/Captain America and Thor, respectively. With Thor: Ragnarok soon to be released, Hemsworth’s solo trilogy as Thor will also come to a close. After such, he will only have the Infinity War saga left on his plate.
