'Justice League' Movie Costumes of Batman, Aquaman and Flash Revealed at SDCC 2017

'Justice League' Movie Costumes of Batman, Aquaman and Flash Revealed at SDCC 2017

Fans now have a closer look at the Justice League movie thanks to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC). Reportedly, SDCC 2017 has on display the costumes of Batman, Aquaman, and even the Flash as seen in Justice League. Such a revelation comes ahead of the film’s release in November.

Justice League Movie Costumes at SDCC 2017

SDCC 2017 features a booth dedicated to Justice League. Reportedly, it boasts the costumes of several characters in the anticipated film, including the suits of Batman (Ben Affleck), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher).

Notably, Wonder Woman’s garb seems a touch different than what was showcased in her recent solo film. Some speculate that this is due to the natural aging of the character’s armor after her departure from Themyscira. On the other hand, the muted colors of Wonder Woman’s Justice League armor may be part of the film’s overall mood and aesthetic.

Some of these costumes may not be anything new to some fans. After all, the Justice League is a popular band of superheroes that continues to amass fans old and new. Regardless, the showcase of these costumes ultimately adds to the hype surrounding the Justice League movie.

Ben Affleck as Batman

In other news, Affleck, who portrays the Dark Knight himself, is slated to reprise his role in an upcoming solo Batman film. Such a project will reportedly take place after Justice League.

This is good news for fans of both Batman and the Justice League. Previous reports suggested that Affleck was considering stepping away from the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), especially with the aftermath of 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. As some fans may know, Dawn of Justice was ultimately a flop despite the hype. To potentially lose Affleck as Batman, especially with Justice League on its way, may be a difficult roadblock to conquer should it become a reality.

Despite previous flops, the DCEU managed to turn things around thanks to Gadot’s Wonder Woman. The latter was ultimately met with critical and commercial success upon its release. The DCEU can only hope to keep the streak going with Justice League. Whether or not the upcoming film will be able to reach the likes of Wonder Woman’s success remains up in the air for now.
