5SOS New Album Already Complete? Michael Clifford Already Thanks Crew

The 5SOS new album just might be coming out very soon. 5 Seconds Of Summer member Michael Clifford hinted that the band had already finished recording their next album.

In his latest post on Twitter, Clifford shared a photo of himself along with his bandmates, Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin. They were also joined by two other members of the 5SOS crew. He thanked the group for the “incredible experience.” Clifford wrote, “Creating magic with these dudes has been an incredible experience. So grateful to them for taking us on and helping us create something ama … ” See Michael’s tweet below.

Fans were quick to speculate that this could mean that the 5SOS new album is already done and ready for release. One fan wrote, “Does this mean the album is finished? When do we get to hear this masterpiece?” Another fan expressed optimism about the album’s future and wrote, “I bet 5sos3 is going to be the album of the year.”

On social media, the band had also shared some of their clips while in a studio. In one of the videos, the band seems to be singing Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics. Does this mean the 5SOS new album includes the band’s version of Eurythmics’ song? Watch the 5SOS clip below.

5SOS New Album

The Australia boy band last released an LP in 2015. 5SOS remains tight-lipped about the release date of their third LP. Ashton Irwin, however, previously teased on Twitter that it could be this year. Irwin shared a photo of himself on social media and wrote, “Insert album Due Date 00//00//17.”

He also teased that fans should expect that their third album will be a “legendary” one. In April, he wrote on Twitter, “Thinkin late night about how much I want this 3rd album to legendary for fans of this band, and how much I wanna show you what we can do.”

5SOS on Asian Tour

The Australian boy band will be back on stage in August. Fans last saw 5SOS on stage in October 2016. After the success of their Sounds Good Feels Good World Tour last year, the band focuses on recording their next album.

The Good Girls hitmakers are set to hit the Pentaport Rock Festival 2017 stage in Incheon, South Korea on Aug. 13. Then, they will head to the Philippines for the second year of In The Mix Festival on Aug. 17. 5SOS will be joined by Nick Jonas’ DNCE and other artists. After which, the band will travel to Japan for the Summer Sonic 2017 on Aug. 19.
