Lyon closing in on securing Chelsea striker

Chelsea have agreed to sell Bertrand Traore to Lyon for £16.6million after he impressed on loan at Ajax last season.Lyon have tracked Traore all season as they prepare for life without Lacazette, who finally looks to be leaving the Ligue 1 club in the close season.The 21-year-old scored 14 goals and the Dutch were among a host of clubs keen to take him on a permanent deal.The Burkina-Faso worldwide signed for Chelsea in 2014 and was loaned to Vitesse where he scored an impressive 16 goals in 42 games.But the Premier League pair have slipped behind Lyon in the race and, as was reported on Tuesday, the French club had entered advanced negotiations with Chelsea about the player.The former Auxerre forward has spent the past season on loan with AFC Ajax, where he made 39 appearances across all competitions and helped de Godenzonen to the finals of the UEFA Europa League and a second placed finish in the Eredivisie.Lyon discussed the option of signing Traore with Chelsea when the two clubs met earlier this month and talks have continued over the last few weeks as they try to reach an agreement.
