Salman Khan will compensate distributors for Tubelight loss

Barring Tubelight, Salman has tasted success on Eid in the past several years. None of his recent outings ended up in losses and they left the makers and buyers in huge profits. But the actor seemed happy with the critics’ reaction to the film. He further said that Tubelight is still running in theatres and doing business. Tubelight has been sold out for massive prices and the movie has been rejected badly by the audience. This is one of the biggest paybacks ever in the history of Indian cinema.Directed by Kabir Khan, Tubelight is a family movie, much different from the standard Salman Khan masala movies filled with action and item songs in the mix. When Rajinikanth’s film didn’t work, he returned the money. Salman Khan too was not in a mood to disappoint them and he called the buyers.”Salman Khan is turning out to be distributors” “bhaijaan”. Buyers of Salman’s “Tubelight” were in utter shock after the film nearly ended its theatrical run by raking in a mere Rs 115 crore approx. Trade analyst Komal Nahta confirmed the same on social media. Now it is being learnt that the “Sultan” actor has agreed to pay the distributors to make up for the Tubelight’s losses. The example of Rajini and Salman should be emulated by all producers and heroes. Salman Khan is now busy shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai in the direction of Abbas Ali Zaffar in which Katrina Kaif is the female lead.
