HUGE 'Game of Thrones' Season 7 Spoilers Reveal Euron, Cersei to be a Couple

Following the well-calculated wildfire explosion and the subsequent demise of King Tommen in the Season 6 finale, Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers suggest that Cersei Lannister may do something that would have seemed nearly impossible when the show returns. Many believe that she will be in a marital union with Euron Greyjoy.

The forthcoming season of the HBO series is going to include serious Greyjoy family drama, but it might also spark a new love interest for the queen regent of the Seven Kingdoms. Lena Headey’s Cersei has taken hold of the Iron Thrones and does not technically have a man to stand by her side in any official capacity, although it is known that she and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau’s Jamie have been intimate for decades.

Pilou Asbaek Spoils the Daenerys-Euron Alliance Theory

Since the two are childless and there is a kingdom to run, their relationship may need to change a bit going forward. On the other hand, Euron will head back to the Iron Islands after a long absence to push his brother Balon off a rope bridge in the rain. While Cersei has gained control of the realm, she will be facing a threat to her power in Season 7.

With Daenerys, three dragons, and a massive army headed straight for King’s Landing, Queen Cersei will surely need a hand more than a crown if she hopes to defend herself. Could this mean wedding bells are in the air? While some the Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers claim that Euron may become an ally to Daenerys, Pilou Asbaek seems to spoil the theory.

Dedicated fans originally think that Euron has an interest in marrying Daenerys and form an alliance with her to help destroy Cersei’s kingdom. However, it may not be the case at all since Asbaek himself drops a huge spoiler about the matter.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Spoilers Hint Euron and Cersei’s Union

In an interview, the actor revealed that his character will not set his sights on the Mother of Dragons but will instead lay his eyes on another potential match for his power plans. Asbaek explains, “For Euron, the question is, ‘Who gives me the best odds?’ Is it the dragon mother? No. Is it with Cersei? I think it is.”

The actor adds, “Dany is still trying to be a good, decent, honest person. Cersei sold her soul many years ago. Maybe that’s why Euron likes the idea of her.” Without Daenerys on his side, it sounds like his character will have a better-suited ally for his impulsive and menacing personality. Everyone should wait for the return of the series to find out if these Game of Thrones Season 7 spoilers are accurate.
