Delco man, 28, charged in fatal Chesco road-rage shooting

David Desper, 28, of Trainer in Delaware County, is facing first-degree murder charges and is in custody, being held without bail, 6 ABC of Philadelphia is reporting.It is not yet known exactly where the truck was found. Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan and West Goshen Police have scheduled a 10 a.m. press conference to update the investigation. Police say he was behind the wheel of a red pickup truck with faded paint.Bianca Roberson, 18, was shot in West Goshen on Wednesday, the Chester County District Attorney’s office said.Roberson, 18, was shot in the head Wednesday after she tried to merge into a lane at the same time as the driver of a red pickup truck. The suspect fled the scene toward Route 202 and police say he was last seen turning onto a local road.Hogan also announced investigators recovered the truck and gun involved in the incident shortly after Desper turned himself in.Hogan called the shooting “a savage, senseless act”.Now, authorities have released a composite sketch of a white male suspect, with light colored hair.Between 30 and 40 years old.Roberson was shot in her head.Police released surveillance video of Desper’s pickup truck Saturday. “He took a handsome young lady of 18 years of age in the prime of her life getting ready to go off to college, and for reasons that are incomprehensible to me, the family is now planning for her funeral instead of a going-away party for college”.Roberson had just graduated from Bayard Rustin High School and was slated to attend Jacksonville University in Florida this coming fall.Family members said Roberson had been shopping with her mom and grandmother before the crash occurred. “As we continue communicating with Bianca’s family, we’ll discuss ideas such as a scholarship being created out of some money earned in this GoFundMe”. “She was excited. We were just happy for her”.
