Starbucks worker mysteriously goes missing after going on break

A Starbucks barista at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport took a break from work Monday evening and has not been seen since.Allison Cope, 24, was reported missing on Monday at 7pm after she clocked out for a break from her job in Terminal 2 of the North Carolina airport at 3pm.She was seen going down the escalator and leaving Terminal 2 with just keys in her hand, presumably to run to her vehicle for a minute, according to friends.Family members said Cope’s phone and bag were found at the airport, but her auto keys and debit card were missing from her bag. She said she thinks Cope went to the parking lot to get auto registration paperwork, because they had been discussing her insurance policy. “She is 5’6″ and weighs 180 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black HMS Host-branded Starbucks polo shirt, blue jeans, and black sneakers, police said. RDU Police say the vehicle is a 2014 silver Ford Fusion with a North Carolina license plate that reads EHA 2771. She said around 1:40 p.m. Monday, she texted Cope asking if she had left something inside of Cope’s auto. “She’s the most positive person I’ve ever met”. “They said to us that she went down through the bottom to where they normally take the trash, which is not a normal route for her, which is a little weird”, said Kosinski. The 24-year-old’s roommate told reporters that security footage caught the Ford Fusion leaving the lot, but it is still unknown who was driving. They said she clocked out for her break, and she just didn’t come back. “Her manager expressed extreme concern”. The auto has a sticker for the Change of Heart Pit Bull Rescue. They also said police are looking into a charge on Cope’s account that posted after she was reported missing.
