SEOUL: After the successful release of the 17 month old mini-version of the Galaxy S3 in October 2012, the company unveils the Galaxy S III Mini Value Edition with a slightly faster processor and better OS. This version adds value in terms of performance and processing to its predecessor.
The specs of the newer version are almost the same as the previous one with a slightly better processor. It carries dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 that runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The Value Edition has been available in shelves of Netherlands since last week. It costs around €180 or $250. The exact release date of other markets is not yet known exactly so far.
Samsung is meanwhile getting ready to release its flagship series for the Galaxy. Samsung series was appearing to be older now in comparison to the Galaxy series. The launch of the update of the Galaxy S III Mini in Value Edition is another big step forward towards proving this evidence.
Samsung is striving hard to gather the attention of the people by introducing novel features into smartphones in the low range. Galaxy SIII mini has basic features as compared to the latest releases of the smartphones today from other companies or even Samsung’s higher versions. This set costs in a very reasonable range. The specs are enough for the basic users to enjoy the features contained in it. It is hoped that its market goes very high once it is released.-
